"big bertha" update...

Hey Everyone,

So Courtney's wheelchair van "Big Bertha's" fuel pump needs to be replaced as well as the straps holding the fuel tank to the undercarriage and two other things that escape me at this moment. The fuel pump was "questionable last month, but at $1500 we opted to wait to repair it, since we were already over our available funds (thanks to you sweet people we had any at all)  with the electrical system and other smaller repairs.

Now we have no choice. We also got a second opinion this morning for another repair shop and they gave us an even higher bill. So back to the first place thank you.

Heaven help us. Not sure how we will get it done but since the need is grave we will figure it out. We have not really had a chance to replace our emergency fund in the last three weeks so...yea...

Financial and medical. That's always where we get hit by that guy with the horns. He does his best to discourage and tear down and all I can do is hope and pray and be frugal and try to be the best steward I can be. I find this more challenging than losing weight and that is saying something my friends.

Miss Courtney spent most of the night up with a dry cough. Poor kid just could not get comfortable, so I climbed into bed with her and we did our best.  Now the vaporizer and eucalyptus oil will be a part of our day once more. She had two 6-7 minute grand-mal seizures over the course of the last 12 hours and this Mama had a migraine last night that would have taken down a small horse.

Needless to say...I am feeling a little cranky today.

So there you have it. Real life all the time here at Passionate Perseverance. We need to find a happy little rainbow and just sit beneath it for awhile don't you think. Maybe find a tropical island where they bring you little drinks with umbrellas. That sounds lovely. No wheelchair vans or eucalyptus oil needed there.

Hello Monday. You never disappoint in being a challenge do you??

**sigh**

I need more coffee...and chocolate...

As I wrote yesterday...We are so blessed. So, so very, very blessed by your kindness. To know that so many people who have selflessly reached out and loved our family in such a way brings tears to my eyes every single time.  If you feel called. here is the button. It is always on the side of the blog as well.

We will get through it. We always do. God will provide a way to do this has He has every other time. Blessings and grace to you and yours this day my friends. All will be well. All will be well. All will be well.

"Now to Him who is able to do far more abundantly beyond all that we ask or think, according to the power that works within us, to Him be the glory in the church and in Christ Jesus to all generations forever and ever. Amen."
Ephesians 3:20-21
